Lauren Schoenfeld is running for Wyoming State Senate to bring principled, conservative leadership to Cheyenne. As a Wyoming woman, wife, mother, and community leader, Lauren understands the values that make our state strong: faith, family, freedom, personal responsibility, and a deep respect for the people who call Wyoming home.
Lauren believes Wyoming deserves leaders who listen, stand firm in their values, and work collaboratively to make common-sense decisions that get things done. She is committed to protecting the freedoms Wyoming families depend on, defending constitutional rights, supporting local communities, and ensuring state government works for the people it serves.

Lauren’s Wyoming roots run deep. Raised in Farson, Wyoming she has an appreciation for hard work, independence, and service, and brings a grounded perspective to public leadership. Her experience in business, community engagement, and policy has shaped her belief that Wyoming’s future should be built by the people who live, work, and raise families here.
Lauren is proud to be part of the Wyoming way of life, from family time and community events to the traditions that make this state unique. She believes that Wyoming families want safe communities, strong local economies, protected freedoms, and conservative leaders who will fight for the values they believe in.

Lauren has spent her career bringing people together to solve problems, strengthen communities, and help Wyoming shape its own future. As a Wyoming native and proud University of Wyoming graduate, she has worked alongside business leaders, local governments, educators, and state officials to create practical solutions that support Wyoming families and communities. Lauren is skilled at uniting diverse groups into coalitions to address challenges.
Her experience spans local government, economic development, workforce development, business leadership, and public policy. Lauren has served as a Sweetwater County Commissioner, led the Wyoming Innovation Partnership, and now serves as its Executive Director through the Wyoming Business Alliance and Wyoming Heritage Foundation.
In each role, she has focused on supporting Wyoming businesses, strengthening our workforce, and ensuring decisions are made with the people of Wyoming in mind.
Before her work in state government, Lauren’s path was forged through community leadership, human resources, organizational change management, law enforcement, and nonprofit leadership. These experiences have given her a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing real Wyoming families, employers, and local communities.

She will work to ensure state policies support local decision-making, economic opportunity, and long-term stability.
